SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Shipping Policy

Orders will be processed, packed and dispatched within 3-5 business days, unless an item in the order becomes unavailable between your order date and time of shipping. If for unforeseen reasons there are delays in processing orders we will notify all customers in a timely matter and have orders dispatched as soon as possible. Delivery times will vary depending on your location and any delays with Australia Post. We offer flat rate shipping for standard and express postage with all orders being sent via Australia Post. At this time we can only accept customers shipping to Australia only, but we hope to expand to New Zealand in the future.

Shipping Costs: Standard shipping is a flat rate of $12.50 and FREE for orders over $100. All orders are dispatched from Melbourne, Victoria. Please ensure your postal address is correct - Australia Post will charge a Return To Sender (RTS) fee where an incorrect address has been entered. If your order is returned to us due to incorrect address details, RTS fee and shipping costs to re-send your order must be paid prior to being dispatched again. If your order is returned to us and you wish to cancel instead of having it re-sent, the RTS fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Return & Exchange Policy

Although we strive to deliver quality products every time, we understand that sometimes we can make mistakes! If you have any issues with your product, please email minalagifts@gmail.com. You may be asked for photographs of your item and an in-depth description of the issue with the product.

If a refund/replacement request is accepted by MINALA GITFS, return shipping fee must be paid by the customer and is not covered by MINALA GIFTS. The refund/replacement request must be completed within 30 days of purchase to be considered. Returns and refunds are only applicable on unopened, saleable items from MINALA GIFTS. This is ONLY applicable on products that have a 'major' problem, please see below for detail and what is considered a 'major' problem as outlined by the ACCC.

Change of mind on purchases are not grounds for a refund.

UNDER AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW: You can ask for a replacement or refund if the problem with the product is major. A major problem falls under the following categories:

· it is significantly different from the sample or description

· it is substantially unfit for its common purpose and can’t easily be fixed within a reasonable time.

· it doesn’t do what you asked for and can’t easily be fixed within a reasonable time; or

· it is unsafe.

ITEMS THAT ARE BROKEN IN TRANSIT: Once the item is in transit by the postal service, MINALA GIFTS assumes no liability or responsibility for items that are broken or lost in transit. This is not grounds for a refund/replacement as it is out of MINALA GIFTS jurisdiction of control.
